DWDM Principle
In the actual operation process, in order to reasonably utilize the broadband resources generated by the single-mode fiber in the 1.55pm low-loss region, it is necessary to divide the low-loss region of the fiber into multiple optical channels according to different frequencies and wavelengths, and it is necessary to The optical channel establishes the carrier wave, which is what we call the light wave. At the same time, the demultiplexer is used to combine various signals of different specified wavelengths at the transmitting end, and these combined signals are collectively transmitted into an optical fiber for signal transmission. When transmitted to the receiving end, these have different wavelengths when combined together using an optical demultiplexer. Signals of different light waves are decomposed into initial states to realize the function of transmitting a variety of different signals in one optical fiber.
