As trends like virtualization and convergence bring increased traffic to 800G/1.6T data centers, cable with high fiber counts is needed to support growing bandwidth. therefore, flexible ribbon fiber cable become an ideal option, providing the highest connectivity density to new-gen data centers. With multiple flexible ribbon fiber groups inside, it offers 288F to 3456F.
Structurally, fibers within rollable ribbon cables are attached at regularly spaced points rather than continuously along their length, making the ribbon more flexible/rollable than conventional ribbon cable. Its small OD and superb flexibility make it easier and faster to handle, creating installation possibilities in narrow pathways. The construction is gel-free and all-dielectric, with peripheral FRP for strength and dry water-blocking throughout. For hyperscale and AI-infrastructure backbones, that means fewer duct pulls to hit the fibre counts these networks now need, and faster deployment.
