The MMC ferrule polishing fixture is customized to polish the MMC connectors. It has perfect performance on Optico's automated polishing machine, which is a revolutionary solution to optical patch cable production.

 

The MMC connector from US Conec is an ultra small (VSFF) multi fiber connector designed for terminating single-mode and multi-mode optical cables with a diameter of up to 2.5mm. The port density is about three times that of traditional MPO, which is a key solution to address the challenges of high-density interconnection in the future.

The MMC connector adopts a novel TMT insertion technology, which is consistent with the alignment structure of MT or MT-16. By utilizing the groundbreaking DirectConec push-pull tailgate technology, it is easy to connect a single connector in extreme environments.

 

Polishing is a crucial step in ensuring the optical performance of fiber optic connectors during production. For MMC connectors, the core component TMT plug also needs to be precision ground to ensure that the end face quality meets the standards of low insertion loss and excellent return loss.
