1. Selection of the number of optical cable cores
Under the conditions of convenient construction, try to choose a cable with a larger coil length. When choosing the number of optical cable cores, it is necessary to combine benefits with long-term planning, and fully consider the possibility of expansion; according to the guiding ideology of "building a line to serve a large area", fully consider the communication needs of major units along the way.
2. Selection of optical cable structure program
The long-distance trunk optical cable should use a single-mode optical fiber with a wavelength of 1310 nm and a window of 1550 nm; the optical fiber screening tension should not be less than 5N (Newton); the non-metallic wire-to-fiber cable should be used, and non-metallic cables can be used in areas affected by severe lightning strikes or strong currents. The component strengthens the core optical cable, and the optical cable core adopts the oil-filled paste structure.
Requirements for the selection of optical cable sheath structure: overhead and pipeline optical cables (simple plastic pipe pipes) are moisture-proof layer + PE outer sheath; direct buried optical cables are moisture-proof layer + PE inner sheath + steel tape armor + PE outer sheath; The underwater optical cable is moisture-proof layer + PE inner sheath + thick steel wire armor + PE outer sheath.
The mechanical properties of the optical cable shall comply with those specified in Table 1.1. When the optical cable is subjected to short-term allowable tension or lateral pressure, the attenuation of the optical fiber does not change after the tension or lateral pressure is released, and the optical fiber elongation rate is not greater than 0.15%; when the optical cable is subjected to long-term allowable tension or lateral pressure, the optical fiber attenuation does not change, and the optical fiber cable elongation rate is not greater than 0.2%, no strain before light.
