Optical Cable

Distribution Fiber Optical Cable---Unlike branch cables, distribution cables are smaller in size and lighter in weight. Distribution cables can be denser in fiber count than drop cables with up to 144 fibers. Many fibers may not be used immediately, but can be reserved for future expansion. Despite the more compact design of distribution cables, the tight-buffered fibers inside the cable are only bundled in a single outer jacket for protection. However, this makes the distribution fiber optic cable easy to handle and strip for field termination.

OPTICO' s Distribution Fiber Optical Cable is composed of high quality colored tight buffers, aramid yarn and a PVC /LSZH outer jacket. They are primarily designed for both indoor and outdoor applications. Their small bend radius allows for fast installations and easy terminations within confined spaces. Our Distribution Cable is also available in a wide variety of colors.
