This time, Phoenix Guangteng defines a brand new solution of automatic fiber polishing. briefly, there are eight major advantages:
1. Effectively save labor costs
Due to the Highly integrated automation design, one operator is enough to control the entire complex polishing process of MPO connectors. The solution covers the whole traditional steps, namely manual loading, replacing polishing film, downward positioning, polishing, and plate-cleaning. All steps are completed by the automatic machine.
2. Automatic replacing of polishing film
Tailor-made scroll type polishing film is adopted in the solution. The scroll can be customized of different meters. In maximum, one scroll film can polish up to 185 plates, with each plate 36 fixtures. That is 6660 MPO connectors in total. After each polishing segment, the scroll will roll out new polishing film to replace the exhausted part. This brings great convenience to procurement of materials, capacity management as well as prevent waste.
3.Robot motion platform
The high-precision robotic arm can flexibly move in horizontal and vertical directions, to execute fixed-point clamping of polishing plates, as well as precise placement in the polishing area.
4.Intelligent software operation platform
The device system adopts the Windows architecture and controls the entire movement process by the host computer. It can store up to 400 polishing process formulas. When issuing production tasks, the operator can easily click to set in seconds . Meanwhile, this system can connect with the enterprise MES management system to achieve remote visual supervision.
5.Cleaning system
This system adopts ultrasonic vibration and air blowing methods to clean. Each polishing area has an independent cleaning pool, and the water in the pools will recycle automatically. The time and frequency of cleaning process can be customized. After water cleaning, air blowing will be the next step to finish.
6.Innovative polishing track
Different to traditional polishing machine's mode, this system adopts a 'round and straight 'polishing tracks. This can maximize the use of polishing films, ensuring the consistency in polishing and cutting, and finally guarantee the perfect result of end surface and 3D performance.
7.High precision and efficient polishing plates
We breaks the limitations of traditional polishing plate design, and adopt new plates that can clamp 36 MPO connectors at one time. This change helps increase the capacity by 1/3. At the same time, the polishing plate is equipped with improved 'easy to fix' clamps, firmly and accurately fix the connectors during polishing process. The minimum CPK angle fluctuation can be controlled at 0.1 degree.
8.Simple and efficient output
With this automatic machine, It only takes 4 minutes to finish one plate. If the machine operates 10 hours per day, it can polish 5000-5500 units. Under the premise of exquisite process and effective management, stable mass output can be achieved even with just 2 working staffs.
